In one month Destiny 2: Lightfall will be launched and Bungie shows its community what to expect in the upcoming, year-round expansion. In the new trailer we take a look at the planet Neptune and the metropolis Neomuna.

Futuristic skyscrapers and flashing neon lights – this is the metropolis of Neomuna on the planet Neptune. But the city is in turmoil. As the Destiny 2: Lightfall trailer shows, Calus’ invasion is reducing the city to rubble. New hope is brought by you, the Guardians, who fight their way through the metropolis with the (new Darkness Focus Strand) . At the request of Neomuna’s defenders, the so-called Curruli, it is up to you to protect the city’s inhabitants from this danger.

Before Destiny 2: Lightfall kicks off, though, there’s other news in the popular shooter. For example, Bungie is also celebrating the upcoming Lunar Year of the Rabbit with an exotic spirit, a ship, a Sparrow and a festive ornament for the Riskrunner in the Eververse store. A red envelope filled with free Bright Dust is also waiting there until the end of January. All Keepers can also pick up a new emblem inspired by the Year of the Rabbit with the code TNN-DKM-6LG

Last but not least, a new event awaits you in Destiny 2: Season of Seraphs. Players must restore the war spirit Rasputin to prepare for the Witness attack. You can also take part in Triumph Moments until the end of the season to celebrate your achievements from the past year.

Lightfall will be available on all available platforms on 28 February 2023
