The “Climbathon 2023” is currently running in League of Legends. A race organised by the streamer NoWay for the top of the EUW server.
The battle for the Summoner’s Rift has begun again! The 13th season of League of Legends has been running since 10 January. All eyes are on the players at the top. And they have come up with something very special.
Climbathon in League of Legends
For the start of Season 13 in League of Legends, German influencer Frederik “NoWay” Hinteregger has organised a challenge. The “Climbathon 2023” is to be attended by the créme-de-la-créme of the LoL pros from the EU West.

This is a race for the ranking crown. Whoever collects the most LP after 14 days and thus reaches the highest rank in the round wins the challenge.
By the way, HandOfBlood has also taken on a challenge, because he wants to reach Challenger this season and is making a bet.

Race already in full swing
While a few of the players are still struggling and stuck in Master, Agurin, Upset, Broxah, NoWay, Nemesis, Drututt and Bo have already made it through to Challenger.
Currently Agurin leads the group with 1074 LP. This also puts him in the very first place on the EUW server. However, Upset is close on his heels with 1,006 LP. So it can still be exciting until 24 January.
The participants broadcast the Climbathon live on Twitch. An overview of the current rankings in the race and the stats of all participants can be found on the official site climbathon.gg. All Twitch channels, live games and op.gg profiles are also linked there.
