The Harry Potter role-playing game dethrones Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitch, even though Hogwarts Legacy has not even been released yet.
Hogwarts Legacy hasn’t even been released properly yet, but it already beats Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring in one respect: The Harry Potter role-playing game has drawn more simultaneous viewers in front of the screen on Twitch than any other single-player game before – a new record for the streaming platform!

For direct comparison, with a total of 1.3 million (as reported by Insider Gaming, among others) concurrent viewers yesterday, Hogwarts Legacy clearly leaves Cyberpunk 2077 (1.14 million) and Elden Ring (900,000) behind on Twitch. Since December 2020, the current role-playing game from studio CD Projekt Red had held the Twitch throne, but now it has been replaced.

Hogwarts Legacy is not even out yet, the final release for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is not scheduled until 10 February 2023 . Since 7 February, however, pre-orderers of the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions have been able to start playing – but everyone else should already want to get an idea of the Harry Potter role-playing game.
