New images have been released of the mysterious role-playing game Wyrdsong. In the game by the Bethesda veterans, you will be transported to a Portuguese-influenced fantasy medieval world.

A dark but interesting veil surrounds the fantasy role-playing game Wyrdsong. Since the announcement at gamescom 2022, we still don”t know too much about the project – but the little info sounds promising. Similarly exciting are the new artworks now shared by the developers.

The new images for Wyrdsong

Unfortunately, the developers do not provide a classification of the artwork, but the fancy pictures still make you curious:

What do we know about Wyrdsong?

There is still quite little info about the open-world role-playing game. Besides the artwork, the developers have published (a small update.) So by now over 30 gaming veterans are involved in the project, who have already worked on titles like KOTOR, Ark, Cyberpunk 2077, God of War, Uncharted and many more. The studio is led by Jeff Gardiner (Skyrim, Fallout 4) and Charles Staples (The Outer Worlds, Fallout: New Vegas).

Currently, a gameplay prototype is still being worked on, as well as a wonderful corner to set the visual style. The story and also three factions to join, on the other hand,

are already written.

The developers showed the only moving footage so far at the announcement in 2022, you can watch the teaser trailer here:

Well, are you excited about Wyrdsong yet? How do you like the artwork? Is the Portuguese Middle Ages a welcome change or do you think that with all the fantastical elements in the trailer and the other images, this setting will get lost anyway? Drop us a line in the comments!
