During yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play, Capcom showed off new gameplay footage for Resident Evil 4, along with announcing a “special demo” and the return of a popular mode.
The new trailer for the Resident Evil 4 remake offers fans a tense action package that doesn’t allow the protagonist Leon to take a breather. After all, the agent not only has to look after Ashley, the daughter of the US president. He also has to deal with a horde of infected people and the followers of the Los Illuminados sect. To make matters worse, the antagonist Jack Krauser also shows up. But before we say too much about it, take a look for yourself.
Capcom also used the showcase to make further announcements about Resident Evil 4. For example, they announced Mercenaries mode, which will be added as free DLC after release. For the PlayStation consoles, there will also be a special demo, but no details were given about its contents. PC and Xbox gamers, however, will be left empty-handed. It is not yet known when this special demo will be released.
The remake of Resident Evil 4 will be released on 24 March for PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S.
