Yesterday evening’s Capcom Spotlight Stream provided updates on games from the Japanese studio. We recap the new info on Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal and Street Fighter 6.
The Chainsaw Demo of Resident Evil 4
Experience Leo’s first steps in a village full of maniacs – as many times as you want! That’s what the Chainsaw Demo of the Resident Evil 4 remake offers, available now on all platforms. This is how Capcom heralds the release countdown of the eagerly awaited remake, which will be released on 24 March. A too-early ad had already hinted yesterday that the demo would be available.
A release date & open beta test for Exoprimal
After a closed beta test for the dino multiplayer Exoprimal has already taken place, everyone will soon be able to take part in the open beta test. This will take place from Friday, 17 March at 01:00 until Monday, 20 March at 0:59 . The test supports crossplay and lets you try out all ten exosuits.
This way you will be well prepared for the release on July 14, 2023 14. The fighting game will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
New commentator for Street Fighter 6
A big feature of the upcoming Street Fighter 6 is the real-time commentary. During the Capcom Spotlight they revealed the eighth and last in-game commentator from launch will be part of the game. This is the well-known and popular Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi. The real-time commentary feature will feature the voices of popular commentators from the fighting game community and influential personalities commentating on the fights in real time with easy-to-understand gameplay explanations.
A Capcom Anniversary Theme Park
Last but not least, we want to let you know that Capcom is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. To commemorate the studio’s eventful history, the Capcom Town digital theme park will open its doors on 12 June 2023.
