Valorant pro Hunter “SicK” Mims currently has his hands full trying to get back on the street. The eSportsman was arrested just a few days ago and yet his employer has already arranged for a replacement.

Already on 04 March, Sentinels player Hunter “SicK” Mims was arrested by authorities in Texas for refusing to leave the premises of a Ferrari dealership. In short order, police action ensued, resulting in the Valorant pro currently being held in custody. Bail was set at an amount of 5000 US dollars.

Arrested, suspended and replaced

Employer Sentinels apparently didn’t want to wait for the player to be at large again. Without further ado, they signed Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, a sixth player for the in-house Valorant roster. The 23-year-old transferred from OpTic Gaming with immediate effect. Here he was listed as inactive since last December. Nevertheless, the eSports organisation plans to release SicK via bail as soon as possible, but had previously suspended him due to the detention.

As reported by blix.gg, SicK’s sister is on her way to Texas to deposit the necessary amount of money.

Sentinels is one of the best known brands in Valorant. In the past, the organisation has celebrated numerous successes. Among other things, the team won the VCT 2021 Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavik and collected prize money totalling 200,000 US dollars.

Recently, however, things have not been going too well for the US company. In the course of the LOCK IN tournament, they were eliminated in the first round by the eventual title holders FNATIC, and at the North America Last Chance Qualifier for the Champions Event in Tokyo, Sentinels also failed to beat the competition.
