Remnant: From the Ashes was a surprise hit on Steam in 2019. Less surprisingly, developer Gunfire Games has a sequel in the pipeline with Remnant 2. In the new trailer, you’ll see a lot of gameplay revolving around your companion: a sheepdog. In addition to the defensible quadruped, you can also examine the shooter gameplay and the larger boss monsters.

The dog shows itself faithful as ever by jumping at the rooty collars of the monstrous outgrowths of the seed. By the way, it can also be stroked, an essential function for many players.

And last but not least, the developers have now set a release date: Remnant 2 is scheduled for summer 2023.
