The Endgame of Diablo 4 is taking more and more shape. Blizzard has provided new context about it – we summarise the most important things.

What is there to do in Diablo 4 once the campaign has been completed and the maximum level has been reached? In a video, Blizzard discusses the Endgame of the action role-playing game, which will be released on 6 June 2023. And that should – unsurprisingly – be tough and time-consuming. Partly features were already known, now there is additional context.

What Blizzard reveals about Diablo 4”s endgame

The five most important info: In a nearly six-minute video, the developers of Diablo 4 go into detail about the Endgame of Diablo 4. We have summarised the most important details for you in the following key point list.

  • Capstone Dungeon: After completing the campaign, players can access the so-called Capstone Dungeon. This unlocks the next world level and makes dungeons even harder. Stronger enemies also reward you with better loot, of course.
  • Nightmare variants: In addition to the capstone mechanic, players can also convert any dungeon into a nightmare variant. Even tougher enemies and additional challenges should provide an even greater challenge.
  • Paragon board: The Paragon system familiar from Diablo 3 returns, but is said to be more complex and diverse. Once you have reached the maximum level of a character, you collect Paragon points, which can be used to further develop and individualise your heroine or hero.
  • Whispers of Death: A big old tree gives you tasks or bounty hunts that you can complete for plenty of loot.
  • Fields of Hate: In areas scattered around the map, players can engage in PvP, cleaning up shards in exchange for loot in nearby towns.

No, not all info on the endgame is completely new.

Endgame should continue to grow: The developers of Diablo 4 stress that this will not be all that the Endgame offers. They definitely want to take the community”s feedback into account and improve and further develop it based on that. You can of course watch the video from Blizzard for yourself:
