Nivalis wants to let you live a real life in a chic cyberpunk metropolis. Now here are two new videos for the game.
Do you still remember Nivalis? The next game from German studio Ion Lands (Cloudpunk) was announced just under a year ago at the big Xbox/Bethesda showcase …. and since then we haven’t heard much.
Until now! Because the developers have released two new videos, giving you some new glimpses into the extremely chic cyberpunk world.
News from the cyberpunk city of Nivalis
Even at the beginning of April, the developers released the two new videos. In the first video you can see how the eponymous city Nivalis looks like on a sunny afternoon:

There’s a bit more to see in the second video: Here, one of the developers explores the dystopian game world on foot and in first-person perspective. And because it’s nighttime, the cool neon signs are even prettier to look at:

If you’re now thinking to yourself: yes, it looks fancy, but I have no idea what kind of game this is – no problem, we’ll explain it to you!
As in Cloudpunk, you’ll find yourself in the cyberpunk city of Nivalis – this time as the owner of a street food stand instead of a cab driver. You can expand your small business, upgrade delivery vehicles and equipment, and later open larger establishments like bars, clubs, and restaurants.
Apart from work, you’ll of course be able to explore the eponymous city and carry out all sorts of activities, such as shopping, eating out and going to the cinema. If you’re not so good at obeying the law, you can also participate in illegal races or mess with criminal gangs.
Since Nivalis will be a life sim, there’s also a lot to do around it. You can furnish and decorate your apartment, adopt pets, and maybe even find the love of your life – and along the way experience a (hopefully exciting) storyline around the secrets and intrigues of the dystopian city.
There is currently no release date for Nivalis. However, the developers promise that there will be new information about the game sometime this year.
