The shiny black Xenomorph from Alien is walking around on the Counter-Strike map Dust2. And where that came from, a lot more could be appearing soon
Have you heard the ominous kilck noises yet? The drool dripping onto the brownstone? Probably the most iconic alien in sci-fi cinema has now made it to the Counter-Strike map Dust2 – or so it seems.
A video is currently making the rounds on the Internet, in which the xenomorph takes a little stroll on the popular map. However, the unsuitable environment doesn’t make the horror figure seem so scary anymore. Much more, the video can almost be grinned at. With the words the new Counter-Strike looks wild he has then also left a few question marks with many viewers:

How did the alien get there?
The clip was created faster than it might seem. According to modder Matt Filer, it took him about 15 minutes of work to send the alien to Counter-Strike. However, when you get right down to it, Counter-Strike was sent to Alien: To Alien Isolation.
This is in fact a mod of the popular horror game A few days ago, a thick update for the unofficial mod tool collection (OpenCAGE) for Isolation was released. This now allows entire models, materials, textures and much more to be packed into Creative Assembly’s game. So here the map Dust2 was briefly copied over into a section of Alien Isolation and tada, there exists a Xenomorph in a desert area.
On April 26, the update, also known as Alien Day, was released. The date is a reference to the moon LV-426, which caused hullabaloo in the first two Alien movies.
What do you think of the clip? Did it also make you want to see Isolation 2? And are you curious to see where the Xenomorph might roam around, if more modders invest more than just 15 minutes of time? Write us your opinion to the video gladly in the comments!
