During yesterday’s Summer Game Fest kick-off, Larian Studios also did the honours and released a new trailer for Baldur’s Gate 3. In this trailer, a new antagonist and his well-known voice actor were introduced.

The British actor should be known to many people as a villain. Jason Isaacs has made a name for himself over the last 20 years, especially as the Harry Potter villain Lucius Malfoy. Most recently, he also strutted across the screen as Captain Hook in the remake of Peter Pan.

Now he lends his voice to the aspiring constructor Lord Enver Gortash in Baldur’s Gate 3. The latter has created magical Clockwork Warrior with the Steel Watchers. The newly appointed protector of the city is considered one of the most powerful characters in Baldur’s Gate.

In Baldur’s Gate 3, a fierce power struggle rages in the eponymous city. In this complex tangle of different factions and powers, it’s up to you to distinguish friend from foe.

This is how we end up clashing with the main antagonist General Ketheric Thorm and some other dangerous power holders. A dialogue between him and Gortash has already been shared by Larian Studios earlier this week.

On June11 we will learn even more info about Baldur’s Gate during the PC Gaming Show. So we are well prepared for the release on August31  You will be able to play the long-awaited RPG on PC, Mac and PlayStation 5.
