On 17 June it’s LEC again with the European teams. But who can secure the title and who will fly out before the group stage?
The summer split is just around the corner and on 17 June the first LEC games await us. But which teams really have a chance to win? That’s what this tier list shows you.
Table of Contents
S-Tier: G2
G2 only made it to fourth place in the Spring Split, but they did comparatively well on the MSI stage. Even though no European team could really go far, G2 still seemed to be able to keep up to some extent. A change in the strong line-up of the Org was therefore also not necessary.
A-Tier: BDS
In recent splits, BDS has become a fan favourite due to their special player moves and entertaining content away from the game. But also in terms of play, especially top laner Adam was able to show what he is capable of. Add to that the also strong players Crownie and nuc, who let the French team shine.
B-Tier: MAD Lions, Vitality and SK
Even though MAD managed to win the last split, their performance was not very consistent. Just like MAD, Vitality and SK also have some good to very good players in their team. But it is not quite enough to play at the top. However, these teams may also bring the biggest surprises and could provide for one or the other upsets.

C-Tier: Astralis, Fnatic, KOI, Heretics
Fnatic and KOI have basically switched their supporters, with Trymbi now competing for Fnatic and Advienne for KOI. This could provide a kind of fresh wind in the teams, but it will still be difficult to win against the opponents. Even if a win shows up every now and then for these four orgs, they just don’t compare to the other teams on higher tiers.
D-Tier: XL
Excel Esports finished last in the league in the last two splits. This is despite players like Odoamne and Vetheo, who are actually considered very strong. However, it just doesn’t seem to be enough to secure at least ninth place. This split could also be difficult for them.
