The new teaser for the Soul Fighter Summer Event got fan hopes soaring. An arena, heroes getting ready to fight and Soul Fighter in the name. At first glance, the trailer reminds us of the announcement of the long-awaited fighting game Project L At second glance, fans have to let go of this assumption, but the Summer Event brings with it many other innovations for various titles from the Riot forge: first and foremost League of Legends new game mode: Arena

Modes, Skins and Stories
Over the year, Riot Games increasingly announced a 2v2v2v2 deathmatch mode for League of Legends and recently promised in April a release this summer. In a (Dev Update) they released a preview of the map – a round arena matching the teaser video. Now it’s officially confirmed: the new game mode is called Arena and will be released for the upcoming event.
The Soul Fighter event spans Riot’s Wild Rift, TFT, LoL and Legends of Runterra titles – and includes a host of rewards.
The arena opens its doors on 20 July and will last for six weeks.
League of Legends

You play the metagame adventure directly in the client. It is a combo-battler, in which you fight for reputation as Samira.
How the Arena Mode Works
In the new mode, four teams of 2 compete in various deathmatches on a circular map. Your champions become stronger between rounds. Not only through items, but also through special powers – so-called augmentations. If your doubles team loses too many matches, you will be eliminated and can go straight back into the queue.
At the end, the all-important match between the last two remaining teams awaits. The duels take place independently of each other on different maps that differ in appearance and terrain.

In the limited time Soul Scramble you first play a training mode to gain strength, which is followed by a best-of-3 bracket.

In Switching Duel you choose three champions to switch between seamlessly in 1 vs 1. Whoever gets four kills first is the winner.
