The German developer YAGER announced the end of The Cycle: Frontier this morning. In a post to the community, they explained this decision.

The Cycle: Frontier started out as a strong shooter that was able to win over numerous fans through Twitch hype.
But then it met the same fate as, for example, Splitgate and other titles of this kind. Once the hype has faded, it can be difficult to stay afloat. As YAGER explains in the (Blogpost), the third season was able to increase community numbers again. However, the shooter is no longer financially sustainable. Therefore, the decision was made to shut down the servers at 9 a.m. on 27 September.

The necessary measures will be taken by then. As of now, you will no longer be able to make real-money purchases in The Cycle: Frontier. The special offers in the shop will continue to change daily or weekly and will be reduced by 95%. In addition, the premium version of the Season 3 Fortuna Pass will be unlocked for all players. So YAGER is treating its community to a few more special moments at the end.

You will be able to add The Cycle: Frontier to your library and play it until 27 September. Customer service will also be active until then.

Last but not least, YAGER would like to thank everyone for their support and interest in The Cycle Frontier. The development team is optimistic about the future and wants to learn from the mistakes made.
