The brand new PC construction strategy game Pioneers of Pagonia was only announced in February and now the first trailer has already been released. The game is being developed under the direction of Volker Wertich, creator of the popular Siedler series, at the award-winning indie studio Envision Entertainment . Players will have the opportunity to build, develop and explore a graphically stunning and, of course, bustling island world.

Now the 20-member development team is giving a first detailed insight into the fascinating world of Pagonia. The (Early Access on Steam) will start at the end of 2023, and players can already add Pioneers of Pagonia to their wish list.

What to expect in Pioneers of Pagonia

The building game focuses on an in-depth economic simulation with complex production chains. In the virtual settlement, thousands of Pagonians work conscientiously on their tasks. But in addition to building a thriving economy, you must also solve dark mysteries and defend yourself against vicious creatures. Territorial conflicts in this fabulous but dangerous world of Pagonia are just as much a part of the game as the forester to build the first settlement.

In Early Access, players already have over 40 different building types, more than 70 different goods and complex production chains at their disposal. This allows each player to build their own economy in a creative way. All goods transports, production processes and discoveries of the population are depicted in detail with loving animations. Those who like to look at the whole thing up close can zoom in really deeply and follow the hustle and bustle. Thanks to the procedurally generated maps, there are also countless variations for a varied gaming experience.
