Everything you need to know about the Enshrouded beta
When does the beta start?
The developers have not yet announced an exact date for the closed beta. A blog entry from 7 July says: “It’ll start in a few weeks”, so we expect it to start at the beginning of August 2023 at the latest. One week before the launch, there will be another update with concrete dates, and then we will hopefully also find out the duration of the test phase.
How do I register?
Registration for the Closed Beta is currently open, sign up for it (here on the game’s website) . Make sure you are also registered on the official (Discord server) because that is where you will get the keys if you are approved. You will also need a Steam account and will have to fill in all the requested data about yourself and your computer and sign an NDA to take part.
What’s in the beta?
The developers haven’t listed the exact content, but Enshrouded is far from being a finished and complete game. It will be released on Steam 2023 first in Early Access – so expect that even in the beta by far not all planned biomes, features, resources and so on are included.
What else do I need to know about the beta?
The developers are asking for your feedback on the beta. So please report any bugs you encounter. The developers will then use your opinions to adjust the game.
Will you sign up for the upcoming Enshrouded beta? Or would you rather wait for Early Access or even the finished game, which will probably be released in 2024?
