A buyer in China allegedly pays a price of about 780,000 US dollars for two Counter-Strike weapon skins.

When will the million mark be cracked? That’s what BitSkin asks in a tweet on Wednesday announcing the alleged record price of about $780,000 for two weapon skins in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The deal of the skins Ak-47 “Case Hardened” and the sniper rifle AWP “Dragon Lore” already went through last weekend. The clip from the transfer was shared by Twitter user “MitaoCatOvO”.

Both weapon skins have four valuable “Titan Katowice 2014” holo stickers on them, which are worth a fortune on their own. In April, the value of a sticker on BitSkin was just under $20,000. So in light of that, the holo stickers alone are hitting $160,000. The Titan Holos are no longer available on the regular Steam market.

The same goes for the AWP sniper rifle “Dragon Lore”, which is only available on the secondary market and was sold in the trade in “Souvenir Factory New”. The Ak-47 Case Hardened is in the “Minimal Wear StatTrak” finish and is very rare because the finish has a lot of blue. The prices for the weapon skins are hard to estimate because each one is priced individually.

It’s hard to verify if this actually set a record sale. Many skin deals are going on in private at the moment. However, BitSkin’s question is valid: “Do you think we’ll see a million-dollar deal soon?”
