Pokémon Unite – All maps of the new MOBA

Pokémon Unite is already diverse at release when it comes to arenas. The new MOBA from Nintendo will launch with four different maps right at the start.

Unlike many Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas (MOBAs), Pokémon Unite will be released with several maps. These differ greatly from each other in their structure and game design and thus offer flexible options during the five-on-five battles.

In future updates, even more locations are to be added. Until then, however, players will have to make do with the following four maps: Remoat Stadium, Mer Stadium, Shivre City and Auroma Park.

Remoat Stadium

The Mer Stadium is, in a way, the miniature version of the Remoat Stadium. The rough layout of the map is mostly the same. However, only two teams with four coaches each meet in Mer Stadium and there are only three goalzones instead of five.

This makes scoring a little more difficult and demands creative strategies from the players. With Zapdos, however, a great game element remains and will thus bring the eight coaches together again and again for battles.

Shivre City

The snowy streets of Shivre City are the setting of the third map. This is also designed for five players per team, but there is only one Goal Zone, making it the most important point in the game. Good control of the map

and tactical manoeuvres will therefore be decisive for the game.

The Speed Flux Zones also bring the necessary speed to Shivre City. In addition, the wild ice Pokémon Arktilas in the centre gives the successful team a barrier that is placed at the opponent’s Goal Zone.

Auroma Park

Auroma Park is the fourth map that will be playable at the release of Pokémon Unite. On this location, only three trainers per side will face each other. This means that the right Pokémon selection and every mistake can be decisive for the game.

In addition, with the help of the conveyor belts, players will have the opportunity to cross the map quickly and thus provide moments of surprise. Furthermore, the opponents share their Goal Zones and are additionally rewarded for points scored together. Regigigas is the legendary Pokémon at the centre here, which provides a lot of points for the winning team when defeated.
