This is no first-person shooter like any other: Witchfire shows itself enormously atmospheric in the Early Access test.

The game from developer The Astronauts (The Vanishing of Ethan Carter) relies on a gloomy mood. Nasty: As a Rogue-lite, you can die permanently in Witchfire, losing your game progress after the second time.

The shooter has been available exclusively on the Epic Games Store since September 20, 2023; the Early Access phase is expected to last around a year.
