Aside from the Spider-Man series, Marvel Games have unfortunately not been crowned with much success. But according to a leaker, the tide is set to turn with two upcoming titles.

After the big announcement in January they finally got serious this weekend. Marvel’s Avengers disappeared from all stores on September 30. With this, Square Enix ended the long tale of woe of the flopped multiplayer, which, however, is just one of many failed Marvel Games.

The whole thing looks a bit more tragic with Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Guardians of the Galaxy . That’s because both titles are considered financial failures, despite being well-received by the community and critics.

With good reason, the question is now being asked: What should happen next with the Marvel Games?

The answer is provided by the well-known leaker CanWeGetSomeToast. In a tweet he reports that Marvel is aware of its big gaming flops. Therefore, there would be an internal focus shift to gaming. Also, Black Panther and the Iron Man title are to be part of a new offensive.

In addition, let’s not forget about the Wolverine title that is in development at Insomniac. As CanWeGetSomeToast mentions in the comments of his tweet, there should be a connection to the Spider-Man titles that are also being made at the PlayStation studio.

While this info already makes the distant future of Marvel Games rosier, we’re looking forward to the near future. Because already at the end of this month Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released. You can find all the info about it in the following messages.
