What’s in Patch 2.01
The patch focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements – and not too little! You can find the previously announced highlights of the patch right here, on (Page 2 of this article) you can dig through the entire patch notes.
- Quest bug Automatic Love fixed: During a dialogue option, the game can currently still cause you serious problems, which we have already warned you about. However, this should soon be a thing of the past.
- Quest bug The Heist fixed: In this main mission, the main character likes to fly through the lift when going to the 42nd floor – but soon no more.
- Quest bug Breaking News fixed: The gig did not always start correctly before when entering the quest area.
- Easier weapon switching: Arm cyberware should be easier to equip when switching through weapons.
- Playstation 5 Error: Corrupted saves on the PS5 should no longer occur, but the saves already affected can unfortunately no longer be saved.
- Performance improvement: Performance should be improved on both consoles and PC – especially in Dogtown, the new area from Phantom Liberty.
- UI bug: The user interface should always display the correct keys when using the keyboard and not the buttons on the controller from now on.
- Radio volume: When you sit in the car or on the motorbike, the radio volume shall be adjusted to the sounds of the outside world so that the music is not too quiet or too loud.
But one previously unannounced new feature needs to be highlighted: Phantom Liberty is now also supported with the REDmod This is CD Projekt Red’s free modding tool that allows fans to create their own mods. So expect a new batch full of exciting mods for the addon in the coming weeks and months!
