In this game, players can secure their galactic supremacy in multiplayer mode in around 60 minutes. They expand their reach across the stars, develop new technologies and build formidable star fleets. The focus is on exploring ancient anomalies, forging fragile alliances and conquering the galaxy with friends.

The main features of Stellaris Nexus include

  1. The Hour of Power: The game is designed to be played through in about an hour, saving time while still providing a deep 4X experience.
  2. Social Strategy: Players can choose from different factions and leaders to play with up to five friends in multiplayer mode or compete against strangers online. Unusual alliances can be forged, betrayals committed or secret triumphs achieved.
  3. Race to the Nexus: From the homeworld, players rapidly expand their sphere of influence across the galaxy, exploring and occupying new systems and striving for control of the galactic throne world, the Nexus.
  4. Diplomacy: In addition to military conflicts, players can also engage in diplomatic negotiations and power struggles in the Galactic Council. Rival empires use their influence to push through titles and resolutions that strengthen their faction or further their strategic goals.
