Indie studio Envision Entertainment is launching an exciting winter adventure with the release of “Pioneers of Pagonia” in Early Access on Steam. The building simulation takes players into a fascinating world of countless islands, where they set out in search of scattered tribes to overcome the challenges of the Visitation together.

Players can expect a bustling economic simulation with branching production chains and over 40 different building types. Accompanied by lovely animations, they can follow the entire production process and the development of the population. The Early Access of “Pioneers of Pagonia” is now available in 17 languages for 29.99 EUR on Steam

The winter adventure involves not only the peaceful building of settlements, but also conflict with previously unknown dangers. The once tranquil world of Pagonia is now beset by thieves, bandit raids and even werewolves that can jeopardize construction. Players can face these challenges with different strategies and units over the course of Early Access.

In the picturesque old town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, players can also expect over 40 different building types and more than 70 different goods with branching production chains. Major updates will be introduced at regular intervals during Early Access, including the Shared Co-op Mode, extended production statistics, underground mining and the long-awaited fishing hut.

The developers placed particular emphasis on the map generator, which allows you to customize every detail from the size of the island to the number and difficulty of enemies. Thanks to procedurally generated maps, “Pioneers of Pagonia” promises countless variations and hours of fun.

“We’ve been working towards this day for around two years and the whole team is looking forward to the feedback from the community on the Early Access release, because a lot has happened since the (public demo) in October,” says Volker Wertich, Creative Director at Envision Entertainment. Early Access marks an important milestone, while the team is already working on further content and improvements to develop the game together with the community. A date for the final release has deliberately not yet been set in order to do justice to the wishes and ideas of the players. Pioneers of Pagonia was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. Further information is available on the game’s official website
