Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord continues to grow: Patch 1.2.7 contains numerous changes, especially for solo players. We have the patch notes
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is constantly being developed further: Now there is another update 1.2.7 for the medieval sandbox. It contains numerous changes, some of which you will already be familiar with if you have played the last beta versions. Single-player fans in particular can look forward to some new features, but the patch tweaks every nook and cranny.
We summarize the most important changes for you, on page 2 you will find the (very detailed) patch notes. The update is now live for all platforms, i.e. PC (Steam, Epic and GOG) and consoles.
What does the update 1.2.7 bring?
Weather: Rain, storms and snow in single-player mode are no longer just on the campaign map, but also in the missions. These weather effects influence your units, for example by slowing down their movement
Targeted Formation Selection: You can now target enemy formations with your units, either with one or all of your own formations. As long as your unit is within range, it will preferentially attack the selected formation. This feature is only available in single-player mode for now, but will be available in multiplayer later on.
Improved UI: The user interface has been revised in many places and should now display the most important information more clearly and more easily. For example, your income and expenses are now grouped and displayed in categories.
Automatic battles: The auto-battle system has been revised. Missions and terrain now give you bonuses or penalties, for example if you deploy mounted archers in an open field (big bonus) or in a dense forest (big penalty).
Falling ladders: Siege ladders can now be knocked over, even if units are climbing up them – this applies to both single player and multiplayer. The action can be stopped by attacking the person performing the action
In addition, there are numerous bug fixes and many small changes, which you can find on the next page.
