First the fan project Starfield had to make way, now the release date is fixed: The unofficial expansion will be released in April 2024
No exciting game announcements over the holidays! A new trailer announces good news for Fallout fans just in time for Christmas: The huge mod Fallout: London has a fixed release date. And it won’t be long before we can visit post-apocalyptic England.
You can watch the new video update on the huge fan project right here, below we summarize the most important information.
What happens in Fallout: London?
When will the role-playing mod be released? The project is due to be released on April 23, 2024. It was actually supposed to come out at the end of 2023, but then the developers had to dodge the Starfield release.
What do you need to play the mod? It is an unofficial expansion for Fallout 4, which you need as a base game for the mod along with all official add-ons. Fallout: London will initially only be released for PC, the developers are not planning a console version
What’s inside? As the title suggests, we’re leaving North America for the first time and heading to post-apocalyptic London. Including the metro and important locations, of course! Several factions are fighting for supremacy there and you are right in the middle of the conflict. Fallout: London is set around 50 years before the events of Fallout 4 and tells a completely independent story
Familiar elements such as Vault-Tec and Deathclaws will be explicitly absent, but you will encounter completely new technologies, weapons, monsters and allies. Want to know the details? Then be sure to read our big preview of the fan project!
