Dragon’s Dogma 2: Game director apologizes for the wait

Fans have had to wait more than ten years for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Game Director Hideaki Itsuno has now apologized for this. At the same time, he talks about special phases of finding inspiration.

Fans of the Dragon’s Dogma franchise have practiced patience. A whopping 12 years will have passed since the release of Part 1 when Dargon’s Dogma 2 finally sees the light of day in spring 2024

Game Director Hideaki Itsuno is also sorry that fans have had to wait so long. Even though he has been quite busy over the past decade he is grateful for the support of the fans and happy that he can finally present the fruits of his labor.

Furthermore, Itsuno explains in Play Magazinethat he was up late at night with his team members going over various ideas and concepts for Dragon’s Dogma 2. It was during these late-night sessions that he found most of his inspiration

So when we finally get to play the RPG next spring, we can also look forward to some crazy ideas.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released on March 22, 2024
