Among other things, a first small strategy highlight with a world war scenario awaits you on Steam this week

The holidays are over, the last colleagues are slowly returning from vacation and the year 2024 is also slowly picking up speed on Steam. After last week seemed to be dead and buried, this time there are some exciting titles among the Steam releases of the week

Highlight of the week: War Hospital

(Genre: Management – Developer: Brave Lamb Studios – Release: January 11 (Steam)

In the middle of the First World War, a scenario that has often served as a backdrop for games, War Hospital offers an innovative approach: instead of killing enemy soldiers, you have to patch up your own.

As a retired British field doctor, you are torn out of retirement, thrown back into the turmoil of war and have to manage the fortunes of a field hospital on the French front. In order to save the lives of as many wounded as possible, you must manage your scarce resources well

Money, personnel, medical equipment and, above all, time are scarce, so you are constantly faced with difficult decisions. However, you not only have to take care of your patients’ physical injuries, but also the mental state of your troops, because the war and the omnipresent suffering are also gnawing at the psyche of your doctors and nurses.
