Tekken 8, the latest chapter in Bandai Namco’s legendary fighting series, is getting another addition. After Eddy Gordo was added to the game as a DLC character at the beginning of the month, another fighter has now been announced for the summer. But that’s not all the developers have in store for players. An extensive roadmap promises regular free updates and an exciting expansion of the game’s content.

Photo mode: a new feature for fighters and fans

One of the most exciting announcements is undoubtedly the upcoming Photo Mode, which will make its way into Tekken 8 this summer. This feature will allow players to pause the action-packed combat and take stunning snapshots of their favorite fighters in action. They can use the new arena, the Seaside Resort, as a picturesque backdrop. Lidia Sobieski, the Polish karate fighter and Prime Minister of Poland in the game, will be added to the roster of fighters this summer. Lidia returns as a DLC character after her debut in Tekken 7 and promises action-packed duels on the beach under the light of the evening sun

Insight into the future: Free updates and new game modes

Bandai Namco’s roadmap for Tekken 8 promises players numerous free updates and exciting additions in the coming months. In the fall, fans can look forward to a new story mode for Eddy Gordo, which will deepen the background story of this popular character. In addition, an online training mode and a Ghost vs Ghost battle will be added later in the year. These free expansions are designed to enrich the game experience and keep fans happy, especially in light of some controversial decisions by the developers that have led to a wave of negative reviews.
