The co-op shooter promises a new mech, but first the Helldivers have to conquer the corresponding factory

In the endless battle against Automatons and Terminids, players need heavy artillery to survive on the battlefields. Now the developers ofHelldivers 2are announcing supplies in the form of a new mech. But you’ll have to fight for it first

Receive new commands

The new commands are announced on Twitter in the form of a short video. As with the first mech, unlocking the newExo-49 Emancipator Exosuitis linked to the conquest of an entire planet.

This time you have to liberate the planet Valyria 5 from the Automatons, who have built a gigantic factory there. Once the planet is under your control, mass production of the new mech will begin:

While the first mech still had a rocket launcher, the new model will be equipped with two powerful autocannons. It is not yet known whether there are any other differences between the two mechs, such as the armor. The first model was known to give up the ghost rather quickly when under fire at the time of release.

A victory on Varylia 5 would be a welcome change for the Helldivers. Players were unable to successfully complete two previous commands, which also caused frustration Apparently, however, alarge part of the player baseis now taking part in the battle for the planet. So perhaps there will soon be a victory to announce

In addition to the new mech, other new content for Helldivers 2 is already waiting in the wings. The lead developer himself recently hinted at a new faction reminiscent of Predator. This could possibly be the Illuminati known from the first Helldivers
