What is Marvel’s Midnight Suns?

In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you first create your heroine or hero named Hunter and then get powerful help from the Marvel universe: A total of 12 (16 with expansions) well-known characters are at your side in the course of the campaign in the fight against nasty villains.

The tactical role-playing game consists of two main parts. The first is, of course, the turn-based battles Here you usually compete as a team of three, play action cards, move your characters and use the environment to your advantage. The AI opponents then take their turn. From time to time, you can also use particularly powerful special attacks or combo actions

Between battles, you can relax with your heroic comrades-in-arms in the so-called Abbey. Here you can improve your equipment and unlock new action cards. But you can also chat with other heroes and, ideally, improve your relationship with them.

For whom is this suitable? In our testwe particularly praise the exciting and brutal battles, which make the strategy game particularly worthwhile. If you like the action card system and enjoy cinematic cutscenes, Midnight Suns is just the game for you.

If you don’t care much about the heroes’ private lives and are bored by long conversations, you won’t necessarily be happy.
