A special announcement about Enotria was made at the Summer Game Fest. You can now try out the game for yourself

Finally a Soulslike that’s different. We already titled an earlier preview video for Enotria: The Last Songand this impression only hardens even more after the latest trailer at the Summer Games Fest.

Because a brand new trailer shows us: Gone are the days when we were beaten up by nasty fellows in murky swamps and cold castles. Enotria has a Mediterranean flair, almost as if FromSoftware had taken a company vacation in Tuscany

From now on you can even try out the game All you have to do is go to the game’s Steam page and start the 11 GB download

We also have the new trailer from the Summer Games Fest for you:

What’s Enotria all about?

Enotria is set in the sun-drenched – yet dangerous – world of Canovaccio. Every inhabitant of this realm fulfills a predetermined role and wears a matching mask. Only one can freely choose his fate, namely your hero, the so-called Maskless

Your task is to find the authors and put an end to them, so that the remaining inhabitants of Canovaccio are finally free from their imposed suffering.

You may already have guessed what the main attraction of the game is:You can take the masks of defeated enemies and put them on to gain new abilities. Each one has strengths and weaknesses, so you have to adapt cleverly to each situation, which certainly adds a pinch of tactics to the usual brutally difficult battles.

Will you be giving Enotria a try or are you still not convinced by what you’ve seen so far? Would you like to see more demos to try out at big events instead of just trailers and release dates? Let us know your opinion on this topic in the comments!
