Last Monday, the EpicDB analysis tool, which specializes in the web store, was launched, accessing Epic’s databases – and promptly revealing dozens of previously unreleased games whose names were not yet intended for the public. We have the most important information.

Which games are in the leak?

The list of leaked games is extensive and includessome high-profile names.Although most of the titles in the database are listed under codenames, it didn’t take resourceful userson Redditlong to decipher the titles hidden behind them.

The list includes the project calledSemla, which comes from developer Rockstar Games. If you compare its estimated file size with the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption 1, the conclusion is obviousthat this is the presumed PC port.

This had already appeared a few weeks ago in an entry in Rockstar’s launcher and can therefore be considered confirmed. However, this also applies to all other listed titles: As this leak comes directly from Epic’s own database, the information can be considered 99.9 percent confirmed

Another interesting entry in the list is the projectUtah, which is currently being developed at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Unsurprisingly, this is the PC version ofThe Last of Us 2, as the game is set in the US state of the same name.

A release date has not yet been announced. However, it seems likely that the release will coincide with the 2nd season of the associated series if possible.

Also on the list of leaked games areBioshock 4, which is currently being developed under the codenameParksideanda new Turok For the younger ones among you: That was a series of first-person shooters with dinos that appeared in the early 2000s.

Unfortunately, it is not yet known whether the upcoming Turok game is a remake or a fundamentally new title. The game is being developed by Studio Saber Interactive. The remake of the classic role-playing game Knight of the Old Republic, which has been languishing in development hell for five years now, is also listed there.

Some other code names could not be deciphered, but they sound so crazy that we would like to share them with you: Sega, for example, is currently working on the projectsCurlyWurlyandCroquembouche, among others. How did Epic respond?

Internally, there must have been a lot of panic at Epic on Monday. The EpicDB analysis tool was shut down within a single day. This was apparently followed by an update for the internal product database. The company announced through a spokesperson:

We released an update last night so that third-party tools can no longer uncover new, unreleased product titles from the Epic Games Store catalog.

However, the damage is done. Because a leak like this cannot be undone. Now it remains to be seen how many of the revealed titles will actually be announced in the near future.
