Tiny Glade is a pretty building game in which neither combat nor resource management play a role. Instead, you create imaginative dioramas in cozy forest landscapes and pet a few sheep. The Steam Next Fest proved that this concept works. Over a million interested parties have added the title to their wish list

Tiny Glade is the brainchild of Pounce Light, a two-person development studio based in Sweden. While Tomasz Stachowiak is responsible for rendering, Anastasia Opara is in charge of procedural generation. The two are supported by composer Oda Tilset and sound designer Martin Kvale, who both work for Noknok Audio.

In December 2022, Pounce Light announced Tiny Glade and has since been able to gather a large crowd of interested people behind it. Many are impressed by the cheerful design, the creative gameplay and the cute sheep that you can even stroke. If you interact with the terrain in the immediate vicinity of the cuddly four-legged friends, they react accordingly. For example, if the terrain lowers, the woolly companions slide down to the ground with the help of small umbrellas

The gameplay of Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade sees itself as a “casual building game” that is not about managing resources or achieving a specific goal. You simply choose a pretty, wooded environment and start designing a diorama according to your own wishes. You can create imposing castles, cozy country houses or even small settlements. Here are some screenshots to show what this can look like

In ayesterday’s blog post on SteamPounce Light announced that Tiny Glade now has overone millionwish list entries. For an indie studio, this is considered a huge achievement.
To celebrate this great success, interested parties can download the demo version on Steam until June 23 and immerse themselves in the cozy world of the game.

In the meantime, the developers will use the feedback from the community to put the finishing touches to the game. After all, Tiny Glade is scheduled for release in the third quarter of this year.
