(I had goosebumps) – Unofficial anime for Elden Ring delights fans

A first trailer of the fan project already gives a foretaste of what is to be released this year.

Under the banner of the YouTube channel Steins Alter, numerous creatives have come together to turn FromSoftware’s role-playing game Elden Ring into an anime.

The first short trailer, which was uploaded a few days ago, features six bosses from the main game and DLC. Many fans are already excited

Anime adaptation of Elden Ring

The clip only lasts 50 seconds, but you can already hear the animation style, several bosses and some of their voices.

The bosses shown are Maliketh, Radagon, Mohg, Miquella, Malenia and Messmer. However, only the arm of Miquella can be seen and, as in the game, in his cocoon in Mohgwyn’s palace

As is well known, this is also where the entrance to the DLCShadow of the Erdtree is located, which is also represented by Messmer in the trailer. The expansion will therefore also play a role in the final video

The anime is scheduled for release in the fall of 2024and will be around five minutes long According to thePatreon page, through which the team is asking for support for their work, around 100 artists are working on the project.

There are also rumors of an official film or series adaptation of Elden Ring. The well-known fantasy author George R. R. Martin, who helped develop the background story and world of the role-playing game, was recently tempted to make a suggestion.
