Silent Hill 2is considered a milestone in the horror genre and is getting a refresh over 20 years after its release.The remake, which will be released on October 8, 2024 for PC and Playstation 5, aims to stay as close to the original as possible while still adapting many things.
The camera perspective is new, the battles are more action-packed and the city is bigger. Does this take us too far away from the almost perfect Silent Hill 2?
We were finally able to play the survival horror title for around three hours and come out of the appointment quite positive: Silent Hill 2 could be really quite good, but still suffers from a few unnecessary problems.
