What kind of game is Iratus: Lord of the Dead?
The game is a mixture ofDarkest Dungeon,Dungeon KeeperandTyranny. In this turn-based roguelike role-playing game, you take on the role of the eponymous necromancer Iratus, who fights his way out of a deep dungeon to the surface.
To do this, we create our own undead army from the lifeless bodies of our opponents. There are 16 different unit types to choose from, from the classic skeleton to the will-less zombie to the bloodthirsty vampire. You can then use the army in tactical round-robin battles.
We also praised the battles in our test, as well as the fair learning curve and the dark fantasy setting. We were less impressed by the flat storyline and the spasmodic humor.” We gave the game a score of 75 and judged it as follows: ‘Hidden behind the browser game aesthetics and attempted humor are crisp tactical battles that can hold a candle to Darkest Dungeon. ’
