Shooting, base-building & lead-foot: A huge variety awaits you again in this week’s Steam releases

You’ve already noticed over the past few weeks:The summer slump is over and we’re slowly entering the really hot phase of the gaming year

That’s why you can expect exciting new releases on Steam again this week, which we present to you like every Monday.

Highlight of the week: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

(Genre: Shooter –Developer: Saber Interactive –Release: September 9 (Steam)

InWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2you once again take on the role of Ultramarine Titus, who is suspected of heresy after the events of the previous game. Together with two AI or co-op allies, you fight against the alien Tyranids and Chaos heretics in a linear campaign.

The often bombastic story revolves around honor, courage, corruption and the chaos that pulls the strings in the background, while the gameplay is more classic: You slaughter your way through ever-growing hordes of enemies, while the game shines with massive battles and a dense Warhammer atmosphere.

Pre-orderers of the expensive Gold and Ultra Editions have been able to play since last week. Read our test to find out why a trip into the dark sci-fi universe of Warhammer 40k could be worthwhile for you:
