11 bit studios has released the first major update for . Patch 1.1.0 brings numerous “Quality of Life Improvements” based on community feedback. At the same time, the developer is enticing players with a big sale, which offers a perfect opportunity to purchase the game and discover other titles from the 11 bit studios portfolio.

With the new update for Frostpunk 2, the developers have responded to player feedback and implemented many of the most frequently mentioned requests. Highlights of the patch include the introduction of edge scrolling, the option to cancel construction projects and frostbreaking actions, and color-coded outlines for different parts of the city to improve orientation.

In particular, the performance improvement was the focus of this update. The game now runs smoother thanks to major optimizations, updated DirectX libraries, and the resolution of crash issues that some players had reported, especially on macOS. Other gameplay changes include an expanded view of the frozen landscape through an optimized map system, as well as the introduction of new events and consequences that make the immersive gaming experience even more exciting.
