When does Season 1 Reloaded start?
The Christmas festivities are starting early this year, onDecember 5, 2024, so the fun will likely begin around 7 p.m. German time. You can expect a big update in the run-up to the event, so get your lines warmed up.
What new weapons are there?
The new season brings four new weapons, three of which are available for all modes:
- Maelstrom Shotgun: A new automatic shotgun with high recoil, high rate of fire and high spread will make every small map a living hell.
- AMR Mod 4 Sniper: If you find that the current sniper rifles lack oomph, then help is on the way. The AMR sniper rifle will kill with a single shot to any body part except the feet and shins.
- The Cleaver: The kitchen connoisseurs among you can fillet opponents at medium range with this new melee weapon.
- Legendary swords: Exclusively for Zombie mode, four legendary swords are available as new wonder weapons: the Caliburn, Durendal, Balmung and Solais.
What new maps await you?
There’s also a lot going on on the map front: a total of four new maps await you, including one of the coolest maps from Black Ops 4 from a few years ago.
- Haciendais reminiscent of Vault in layout, but with a much stronger focus on the interior of the large mansion, where you fight on two floors.
- Racket: is the new small strike map for 2v2 or 6v6 and is strongly reminiscent of the vault from the Black Ops 6 campaign.
- Nuketown: is available in a Christmas version.
- Citadelle de Morts is the name of the new zombie map. A gigantic castle with its own storyline awaits you, which you first have to complete yourself before the Directed Mode is added in a few weeks.
Other important changes in Season 1 Reloaded
And here are the most important remaining changes:
- The Ranked mode now also starts in Warzone To participate, you need to have made it into the top 15 once in 30 matches in regular Warzone. Alternatively, make it into the top 6 in Resurgence.
- There are also plenty of new cosmetic rewards for Warzone Ranked to match
- Between December 5 and January 3, all sorts of seasonal Christmas events will take place, including snowball fights and other gimmicks that you should take part in to unlock the new weapons. More specifically:
- GobbleGum Mania (Zombies, December 5-19)
- Merry Mayhem (MP, Zombies, Warzone, December 5-19)
- Archie’s Festival Frenzy (MP, Zombies, Warzone, December 19-January 3)
- In Zombie mode, there are new gadgets, including light ammunition and a new Vulture Aid Cola that increases the loot rate.
- To torture your eyes, there will also be new skins, such as the Brightmare Unicorn Bundle, a stoned chameleon and, in January, a collaboration with Squid Game.
The midseason event starts on December 5, 2024, as already mentioned, but most of you will probably still be busy with the regular Battle Pass anyway. The season will run for about 55 more days, so the first info on Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 should start coming in at the beginning of February.
