Path of Exile 2 recently launched into early access. While fans praise the gameplay, they also have a major criticism.
All in all, Path of Exile 2 had a successful release weekend. The action role-playing game entered Early Access last Friday. Despite some server problems, almost 600,000 users tried their hand at the extremely difficult Diablo competitor on Steam in the past few days.
And after the first hours in the game, fans are full of praise for the gameplay. However, there is also a major point of criticism that is currently being discussed in the relevant forums.
“I enjoy almost everything except the loot”
There are some posts in the subreddit pathofexilethat deal with the lack of loot in the action role-playing game. User bl00dshooter, for example, titled his post: “The new gameplay is fun, but why is there no loot in my loot game?”
In the post, bl00dshooter writes:
Almost everything about Poe 2 is fun for me (especially the new boss mechanics), except for the loot. I finished Act 2 and so far the loot is absolute garbage (especially Act 1). It feels like I’m playing Ruthless, which I don’t want to do (and I doubt most people do either). That alone makes the campaign no fun for me.
Other users share this impression. For example, WorldlinessLanky1898 writes:
Great foundation for a game, now they just need to make it more fun and rewarding.
And Eques 9090 writes:
That’s been my biggest problem so far. I’m using the same weapon I got at level 5 at level 30.

In other posts, the problem is targeted in memes. There, too, users describe their experiences with what they consider to be the poor drop rate in Path of Exile 2. For example, Psarsfiewrites the not-so-serious questions:
Is there loot? Is he in this room with us now?
Whereas user Zorpheus posts a screenshot showing his miserable haul:
Full cleared a map in POE2, heres the loot:

And on the Steam page of the game, many users are also commenting on the lack of loot. However, the negative comments are currently clearly outnumbered. 82 percent of the more than 27,000 reviews of the action role-playing game are positive.
Nevertheless, the German developer Neversink has already created a loot filter for Path of Exile 2 that filters out the valuable items from the drops. A new version was released with the start of the game in early access a few days ago.
