This week on Steam, you can look forward to a host of exciting new releases, including an epic open-world role-playing game.

This week, a variety of new releases await you on Steam – from epic samurai adventures to cozy tea times to totally crazy multiplayer ideas. As always, we provide you with an overview of the most important Steam releases of the week.

Highlight of the week: Rise of the Ronin

(Genre: Action-RPG / Open World – Developer: Team Ninja – Release: March 11 (Steam)

After a long wait, PC gamers can finally immerse themselves in 1863 Japan, where Rise of the Ronin;

stages a turbulent story.

You take on the role of a ronin, a masterless samurai, and fight your way through the Bakumatsu period in the best Souls-like manner – a phase full of wars, diseases and political upheaval. You will meet famous historical figures and your actions will determine several possible endings to the game.

The story presents you with tough decisions, while you fight with a katana, pistol or bow. Thanks to the grappling hook and gliders, you can even traverse the game world in the air. There’s plenty for exploration fans to get their teeth into: the open game world covers an impressive 27 square kilometers, making it almost as big as the

Team Ninja, known for the Nioh series, deliver their first open-world adventure here, which aims to impress technically on the PC with ultra-wide support and up to 8K.

Monday, March 10

  • Voxile: A voxel-based survival shooter with beautiful ray-traced graphics. Imagine Minecraft with guns, destructible environments and mutant creatures.

Tuesday, March 11

  • Wanderstop: A heartwarming game about a warrior who lays down her sword to run a cozy tea house in the forest. Instead of big battles, peaceful tea rituals and relaxed gardening await you. From the new studio of the developer of the acclaimed The Stanley Parable

  • Cheaters Cheetah: A multiplayer shooter in which cheats such as aimbots and wallhacks are not only explicitly allowed, but an integral part of the game.

  • Odinfall (Early Access): Fast-paced Viking roguelite in an end-time setting, with a massive arsenal of weapons and the mission to save the world together with an armed elk.

    Wednesday, March 12

    • Bapbap (Early Access): PvP arena brawler of the completely chaotic kind: After each round, you choose from random skills to create absurdly overpowered character builds.

    • Call of Boba (Early Access): A charming mix of shop management and dungeon fighting. As Boba the penguin, you run a Bobatee shop by day and fight whimsical monsters by night to unlock new recipes.

      Thursday, March 13

      • ASYLUM: After more than 15 (!) years in development, it’s finally here: a classic first-person horror adventure that sends you through the dark corridors of an abandoned insane asylum.

      • Midnight Murder Club: A multiplayer shooter where you and your friends gather in a dark mansion and try to outsmart each other. With treachery lurking around every corner, who can you trust?

        Friday, March 14

        • WWE 2K25: The wrestling circuit returns, including MyGM mode, which can now also be played online. PC gamers, however, have to do without the new, highly-publicized Island mode and, compared to the console, only get a slimmed-down version of the PS4 version.

        • Battlefield: State of Conflict (Early Access): Build bases, command troops and secure resources in the classic real-time strategy style of Command & Conquer. You can see how close the game is to Westwood’s classics in the trailer:
