After establishing itself as a meta in Call of Duty: Warzone over the past few weeks, the Krig 6 has now been generated shortly before the start of Season 5. How well does the rifle perform now?
Low recoil and acceptable damage have ensured that the Krig 6 has become a popular weapon. Quite surprisingly, therefore, came the nerf introduced with the current patch.
How will the assault rifle now hold its own in the meta?
On August 5, the Raven development team posted a tweet mentioning the weapon changes:
🛠️ We have pushed an update to #Warzone with a couple Weapon tweaks 🙂
Krig 6 (BOCW)
Lower Torso Multiplier decreased from 1.1 to 1
Maximum Damage Range decreased from 1500 to 1400CX-9 (MW)
Increased mid damage range from 20 to 21
Increased Headshot Multiplier from 1.4 to 1.45— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) August 5, 2021
The Krig 6 has received an adjustment in damage here. However, this change should hardly be noticeable to most players. However, it definitely makes the competitor QBZ-83 the better weapon now. In our list of the best assault rifles, the Krig 6 and the QBZ-83 now swap places.
