Once again this year, Forbes magazine has selected some of the most important players under 30 in its “30 under 30” list. This year, four esport professionals from Europe are taking part.

G2 Esports prominently represented
Among the four award-winning players are two professionals from the organization: Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski from the League of Legends team, as well as Niclas “pengu” Mouritzen from the Rainbow Six: Victory Department.
Forbes thus honors the excellent year of the LoL Team, who won every other title except the World Championship. Pengu also deserves his award, after all, the Rainbow Six Team was already double World Champion. Things didn’t go so well for G2 at the Six Invitational in Montreal this year, but pengu remains one of the best players in Rainbow Six.
Two veterans for Counter-Strike
Besides G2s players, two of the best CS:GO players were happy to be included in the list. Olof Kajbjer “olofmeister” Gustafsson from the FaZe clan and Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, who plays for the Danish organisation Astralis.
The Faze player and Fnatic veteran olofmeister is modest. He alludes to his reaction to the times with the Swedish top team, when he won two majors in a row. Today he is one of six players who have played in every major so far.
Made it to Forbes 30 under 30, feel like it maybe should have been 2015 but it’s cool to be on the list and I’m proud to be on it 🏄😁

dev1ce also belongs to this category. The star Astralis AWPer has been among the top five players in the HLTV ranking five times and has won the most majors with his team, four of them.
Our own @dev1ce has made the Forbes 30 Under 30 Sport & Games List!
Congratulations on the achievement, Nicolai 🔥

Overall, therefore, the choice of Forbes seems to have been well considered. Nevertheless, CS:GO fans might wonder why top players like Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev do not appear on the list.
