Some game ideas are so over the top that they are exciting again, as in the case of Golf Club: Wasteland.
Humanity is largely extinct and only the super-rich have been able to save themselves. But so that the earth’s resources don’t go to waste, the survivors return to play golf in the post-apocalypse. From a 2D view, you hop around with your astronaut to turn department stores, Silicon Valley and other environments into golf courses…. All the while, a radio DJ talks in a smooth voice about the benefits of living on Mars.
Golf Club: Wasteland will be released on 3 September 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
