Battle Royale and harmony, they don’t go together? Yes it does, rapper Post Malone is streaming Apex with his friends and raising funds in the process.

Musician and global star Post Malone proves once again that he has a big heart. On 18, 20, 22 and 24 July, the rapper will be streaming on Twitch to raise funds for a good cause. He has many other passions besides music. Among other things, he likes to play a few rounds of the popular Battle Royale Apex Legends. He is now combining this hobby and using his reach to do something good.

He has chosen the following organisations:

  • “Human Rights Watch”, an organisation that promotes human rights.
  • “United Way”, an organisation that raises money for victims in Ukraine.
  • “The Trevor Project”, an organisation that provides crisis support for members of the LGBTQ community.
  • “Project Hope”, an organisation that works for climate protection.

On 18.07. the action began with the first stream for “Human Rights Watch”.

Post Malone streamed for just under 8 hours and raised over $20,000 for “Human Rights Watch” by the end of the first stream. He was joined by rapper “Ski Mask the Slump God” and streamer Brandon “aceu” Winn.

Upcoming streams will continue to raise funds for the other organisations. The developers of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment, already made a good showing at the beginning of the campaign. They donated $10,000 each to the selected organisations.
