The new map Storm Point is located on the planet Gala and offers players some interesting features.
Summer, Sun, Stormpoint?
Stormspot is an island with beautiful coasts and beaches. In the trailer, the legend Mirage also gets real holiday feelings. But these don’t last long, because as beautiful as the map seems at first glance, there are also some dangers lurking here.
The fourth map of Apex Legends will also be the largest and highest so far. It is said to be 15% larger than Rand of the World and you should be able to walk around where there is flying in other maps. Accordingly, there are not only beaches, but also huge mountain slopes.
Overall, Stormpoint 17 has primarily places where lots of loot can be found. But there are also camps around these places to loot there as well.
Storm Point Features
At first glance, many will notice that there are no redeployment balloons to be seen. Instead, however, there are gravitational cannons that players can use to catapult themselves through the map in order to get from A to B quickly. Although movement is restricted, weapons and abilities can still be used.
If you fancy a bit of PBE action, you can also face the prowler monsters and poison spiders on Stormpoint. They have nests all over the map and are not afraid to defend them. Knock them down and you will receive additional loot.
The new legend in Apex Legends – Ash from Titanfall 2
A new legend steps forward in the new Apex Season 11: Escape. The simulacrum of Dr Ashleigh Reid is a breath of fresh air on Stormpoint.
Ash, the simulacrum of Dr. Ashleigh Reid
Ash was created from a robot body combined with the mind and spirit of Dr. Ashleigh Reid. She loathes the human side of her and seeks to eliminate the weaknesses that go with it. It is clear from her trailer that she is a cold and bloodthirsty legend.
The characters Pathfinder and Wattson are also seen, harking back to a connection between the stories of the legends.
Her abilities make it clear that Ash is particularly suited to player:ins who like to play aggressively and strike down their opponents at close range.
The passive is Death Mark. This allows Ash to see death box icons on her card when players die. She can then use the death boxes to track down the attackers.
With her tactical ability Bowline, Ash throws a projectile that shocks the enemy and inflicts minor damage. The opponent is also leashed to the ground, making escape more difficult.
Her ultimate ability Phase Rift is reminiscent of that of the legend Wraith, as Ash creates a portal based on her line of sight. However, this portal can only be used to travel in one direction.
