On Twitter, the developers of BF2042 announce two changes to the featured game modes of Battlefield Portal.
While major updates for Battlefield 2042 and the first season are still a long time coming, at least smaller improvements are finding their way into the unloved shooter. Most recently, it was the turn of the long-awaited scoreboard:

Now the developers have announced another small update on Twitter. In the future, the rotation of presented portal modes is to change.

This is now changing in Portal
From 23 March, only three featured game modes will be displayed in Portal instead of the previous five. This is to help keep this category clear. In return, the modes displayed here will now be rotated twice a week. Previously, they changed only once a week. On Thursday 24 March the new rhythm will start with the modes 2042 TDM, 1942 vs 2042 Conquest and Rush Hardcore.
In addition, there will be a special Friday Night Battlefield mode for 24 hours every Friday from now on. Here, players can expect a new mode for Battlefield Portal every week.

At the same time, the developers are probably working on major improvements for the much-criticised multiplayer shooter. In response to player feedback, a thorough overhaul of the existing maps was recently announced. However, it remains questionable whether the game will be able to save itself from the loss of players until the first season.
