There is a new gameplay trailer for Battlefield 2042: This time, three of the eight maps that will be available at release are introduced. The maps are as follows:
- (Renewa) is set in the Egyptian desert. Here you can expect one of the most visually impressive maps, because Renewal is divided in two in the middle by a massive wall.
- (Breakaway) moves the action to Antarctica. Here a battle for oil and gas breaks out to push the soldiers to their limits.
- (Discarded) is set on the coast of Alang in India.The map is characterised by the many massive shipwrecks stranded due to extreme weather conditions and changing sea levels.
