From December 20, 2022 until January 10, 2023 the event “Battle of Nordvik” will take place in Battlefield 2042 . Each week, a new, time-limited game mode will be presented to you on the new Season 3 map, which will then be replaced by the next mode after seven days. These three modes will be available:
Attack on Nordvik: A special variant of Conquest with 32 players per team. At the beginning of the match, the defenders hold all points, however, as the match progresses, their HQ spawn is disabled. They can then only re-enter the fray with squad members or a spawn vehicle.
Defending Nordvik: Here teams of 16 players fight for control of the Nordvik facility. This mode mixes elements of Conquest, Breakthrough and Rush.
Liberation of Nordvik: A variation of Breakthrough with 128 players and additional modifiers such as increased movement speed, faster re-entries and faster vehicle requirements.
When playing the event modes, you can earn several cosmetic items such as soldier and weapon skins. However, some of the new items must be purchased in the shop.
